Hello Everyone,
As we approach Giving Tuesday on November 29, 2022 this year some appreciated reminders from the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) of the U.S.A.
On November 17, 2022 the IRS reminded those with wisdom from 70½ years or more you have the option to transfer as much as $100,000 toward charitable giving tax-free every year.
This is called a qualified charitable distribution (QCD) and is a fantastic way to meet personal goals and family goals and commitments to give to a charitable entity (especially poignant when their charitable mission aligns with your personal goals for bettering society) before the end of the year. For those at least gaining 72 years of wisdom these QCDs also count toward your IRA’s required minimum distribution (RMD) for the year.
Wishing you all good heath and the ability to help those in need!
